*Job Summary*

We are looking for a person carry out general routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage, minor repairs to buildings and outside areas creating a pleasant environment for users of the buildings and grounds.

*Duties*

• Carrying out regular inspections to external areas including road surfaces, signage, bollards, manholes covers and fence lines, carrying out basic repairs where necessary and ensuring areas are clean and tidy.
• Carrying out internal building repairs and modifications, for example basic plumbing, painting, decorating and carpentry.
• Moving and transporting furniture and other office equipment.
• Responsible for site housekeeping including bins, gutters and general areas.
• Make main pathways safe after snow/frost by cleaning/salting as appropriate.
• Grounds maintenance of external areas including, gardening and landscaping, maintenance and repairs.
• Operation of cherry picker and scissor lift.
• Ensure that the appropriate materials and equipment on the site are available and ensuring the equipment receives correct repair and maintenance.

*Skills and Requirements*

• Previous experience in a similar type role
• A keen interest in property maintenance and repairs (would be highly advantageous)
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work unsupervised
• A high standard of work and customer service
• Comfortable with working at height and in all weathers
